Research Methodology — Complete Study Notes

These exam-oriented notes cover all eleven modules of Research Methodology for MCA. The folder is arranged like a learning dashboard: module notes plus a "deep dive" article per module, plus quick-revision resources.

The notes have been checked against the 92 source PDFs in PdfMaterial/Research Methodology. The module files include the PDF-aligned definitions, workflows, formulas, comparisons, assumptions, and exam cautions; the source PDFs are mainly needed for their original diagrams and extended illustrations.

Each module follows the three-layer convention used across this repository:

  1. Simple idea: plain language + a familiar analogy.
  2. Worked example: a small, concrete application.
  3. Technical meaning: definitions, checklists, and exam points.

Running research example

Throughout, we follow one study so the methods feel unified:

Research question: Does a supervised 30-minute daily exercise plan reduce stress levels among full-time MCA students?

This drives the problem, design, sampling, measurement, and analysis in every module.

Module-wise study method

  1. Review prerequisites and reconnect the topic to the running stress study.
  2. Complete one 10-15-minute study block at a time.
  3. Produce the relevant research artifact: question, diagram, sample, instrument, analysis, or paragraph.
  4. Attempt the mini quiz and practice ladder before revealing solutions.
  5. Mark the module Mastered after justifying each methodological choice and one limitation.
